Andrea is a current Bachelor of Science student at UQ. She is pursuing her degree in Biochemistry and Molecular biology to further her passion for human health and tropical infectious diseases.

Andrea hopes to encourage young students to think about science and education and their importance in achieving a sustainable future with quality education and medical attention for all. As the current Secretary for UQ’s Latin America Student Association (UQ LASA) and UQ science Leader, Andrea is keen on continuing her scientific collaboration and sharing knowledge. Outside of academics, you can usually find her playing beach volleyball on campus or sharing her love for native Peruvian languages through music.
