UQ Winter Embassy Internship Program

The University of Queensland coordinates an internship program with a number of international embassies in Canberra over the Winter break. This internship represents a fantastic opportunity if you have an interest in experiencing an international culture and society, diplomacy, international relations and business. The objective of the internship program is to strengthen relations between The University of Queensland and the Embassy and offer meaningful networking and work experience opportunities for students to gain exposure to the working environment of an Embassy.

Participating Embassies may include Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela. No longer do the embassies require a high level of Spanish language skills but it would certainly be advantageous for the working professional environment.

There is program eligibility criteria which you can find here.

Please contact iget@uq.edu.au with any questions.
